Playing catch up with the blog again! Since I last posted, we have been busy beavers! Two of the main things we have gotten up to was going to Taronga Zoo (which we only actually got to see half of :( ) and the Spit Bridge - Manly Scenic Walkway (MSW) - which is a 10km hike through the National Park and along beaches from (roughly the "Seaforth" on the second map, to Manly...obviously lol.
Taronga Zoo
We had a great time at the zoo....almost felt like home! lol. We didn't arrive until about 2pm and we didn't notice that the zoo closed at 4:30pm - so we didn't quite get to see everything, but it was still spectacular.
I think I'll let the pictures speak for themselves! The zoo is just a short ferry ride across the harbour, then there is a bus that takes you straight to the zoo (or pre-booked ticket holders can enter via the bottom gate).

Manly Scenic Walkway (MSW)
The MSW is just beautiful. It's a bit of a hike but worth it. 10km of dirt paths and stone staircases through the national park beside the sea. The water is just so crystal clear, but the camera couldn't capture it. After the walk we just wanted to take a dip in the sea, but it was a bit nippy for that!
During this adventure we got to see a wild lizard and some friendly cockatoos!
Enjoy the photos!
